The GTOC4 Competition
For more details on the GTOC competition and the 4th edition in particular, please refer to the ESA web site.
Problem Description
The problem proposed this year could be entitled:
"How to make a rendezvous mission to a given asteroid most worthwhile by visiting the largest number of other asteroids on the way?".
More precisely, let us assume that a spacecraft is launched from Earth.
The objective for this spacecraft is to visit (fly by) the maximum number of asteroids from a given list.
It must then rendezvous with a last asteroid (from that same list) within ten years after departure.
